1. Privacy
1.1 General
Koninklijke Geostick B.V. places great value on both the privacy of its stakeholders and the security of any personal data it may collect. We are responsible for the processing of personal data as set out in this policy. For this reason, various measures have been taken to ensure compliance with relevant privacy legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The policies of Koninklijke Geostick B.V. also apply to the Digital Printing Center in Uithoorn and our locations in Heumen and Rotterdam.
1.2 Processing of personal data
Geostick processes personal data which you have provided to us in the course of requesting information, placing an order or entering into an agreement, or when you have contacted us.
Depending on the nature of our relationship, this may include:
- Name and company name
- Address and contact information (such as telephone number and email address)
- Invoice and payment details
- Username(s) for our webshop (but not passwords)
- Correspondence or client notes
- Technical data such as cookie settings and how the website is used.
We process only the personal data necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
1.3 Purposes of and legal basis for processing
Geostick processes your personal data for the following purposes and on grounds of the corresponding legal basis:

We do not process any personal data for purposes other than those described above.
1.4 Sharing with third parties
Your personal data will not be shared with or sold to third parties, except in such instances as this is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract or in order to comply with statutory requirements.
Data may be shared with parties including:
- Providers of IT and hosting services
- Providers of payment and administration services
- Logistic service providers (transporters)
- Legal and financial advisers (such as accountants).
When other parties process personal data on behalf of Geostick, we enter into data processing agreements with those partners. The agreements include requirements in connection with security, confidentiality and the purpose of the data processing.
1.5 Retention periods
We do not store personal data beyond the term necessary to carry out the purpose for which that data was collected, or any longer than is required by law. Once the statutory retention period has ended, we ensure the data is deleted or rendered anonymous.
1.6 Security
Geostick takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure personal data against loss, unauthorised access or publication and unlawful use.
Our systems undergo regular security testing and access to data is restricted to those employees who require such access to perform their duties.
1.7 Your rights
GDPR legislation guarantees you the following rights:
- The right to inspect your personal data
- The right to correct or delete that data
- The right to restrict its processing
- The right to data portability
- The right to object to the processing of your data
- The right to withdraw your consent (if applicable).
Please submit any such requests via info@geostick.nl. We will respond within four weeks. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
2. Cookies
2.1 Use of cookies
Our website makes use of ‘cookies’. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer to ensure the website functions as it should and to analyse how visitors make use of the site.
We use the following types of cookie:
1. Functional cookies
These cookies are necessary in order to make the website function properly. They do things like remember your preferences and make it possible for you to stay logged in.
Functional cookies collect no personal data and do not require consent.
2. Analytical cookies
We use analytical cookies to collect anonymised data on how our website is being used, such as which pages were visited and how long the visits lasted.
For this purpose, we make use of Google Analytics 4 in combination with Google Tag Manager, with the ‘privacy-friendly’ settings of Google Analytics 4 in effect. This means that:
- IP addresses are not fully visible and are automatically rendered anonymous.
- Data is shared with Google only for the benefit of the services they provide to us and not for our own purposes.
- We have a data processing agreement in place with Google.
- We do not use any other Google services in combination with Analytics.
- Google does not install any marketing or advertising-related cookies via our website.
- The collected data cannot be traced back to a specific individual. The information is used solely to gain insight into how our website is used and to help us improve it.
2.2 Consent and management of cookies
The first time you visit a website, a cookie banner appears and prompts you to specify which cookies you wish to accept. Non-essential cookies are installed only after you have given consent. You may change your cookie preferences at any time or adjust your browser settings to delete cookies. For more information, consult the ‘Help’ function for your browser.
2.3. Third-party cookies
We make use of Google services such as Google Analytics 4. These parties may install cookies of their own which are necessary in order to provide those services.
We have no control over how such cookies are used by third parties. Please refer to the Google Privacy Statement for more information.
2.4 Rentention period for cookies
- Functional cookies: until the end of the browser session or until you delete these cookies yourself.
- Analytical cookies: no longer than 12 months internally; from four up to a maximum of 14 months within Google Analytics.
3. Changes of contract
We retain the right to make changes to this Privacy & Cookie Statement in response to legislative amendments or updates to our policies.
